Born into the context of a Catholic family her family was raised in Manhattan's Upper East Side. She was accepted by her parents into the Convent of the Sacred Heart which was a prestigious, religious and private school. The passion for music started when she was a young toddler. She learned piano as a teenager and, when she was 13she composed her first song. She performed at open mic nights. Her top singers included queens Michael Jackson Madonna and David Bowie. After high school, she enrolled at New York University's Tisch School of Art to pursue a degree in music. However, she did not finish her education. Instead she began her music career.
